Guitarocracy Virtual Guitar VST Plugin for Kontakt 8

Guitarocracy is a fully modular, generative electric guitar engine built for Native Instruments Kontakt 8 and the free Kontakt Player. Designed for producers, composers, sound designers, and educators—every fret, note, and string was meticulously captured from a steel-string electric guitar across two articulations (sustain and palm-muted), delivering 12 independent stereo string channels, a stereo noise channel, and reverb.

How Will You Use Guitarocracy?

• To Play: Connect any MIDI keyboard to perform real-time guitar parts. Create melodies, harmonies, or 12-string orchestrations with over 128 control options.
• To Trigger: MIDI from your DAW with full per-string mixing, panning, muting, and volume control for precisely arranged cinematic textures.
• To Generate: Choose a scale and the dual-group arpeggiation system adapts in real time, shifting ±36 semitones on the fly. Adjust sample offset for crisp staccatos or lush steel sustains.

Architecture & Custom Tuning

• 14-Channel Mixer: 6 sustain and 6 muted strings, dedicated noise and reverb channels. Shape your tone with AHDSR envelopes and 5 velocity layers.
• Dynamic Tuning: Per-string tuning with factory presets and a User slot. The virtual fretboard, tap-to-play surface, and scale/mode displays automatically your tuning.

Arpeggiator & Performance Engine

• Smart-Mapping: Scale → ARP and ARP → Scale keeps the arpeggiator and the virtual neck in the same scale. ARP host-sync timing ensures locked-in performances.
• Advanced Harmony: 8vb Pitch and 8va Pitch set extra voices in scale degrees (24-step range). Set 8vb Pitch 1 to one octave below and 8va Pitch 1 to unison to build chordal ARP voicings. The NST/STX toggle plays these voices nested (arpeggiated per step) or stacked as a chord.
• Playback & Randomization: 12 playback modes. Intelligent Random and Scale-Aware modes now feature tighter, highly musical randomization ranges.

Interactive Fretboard & Music Theory

• Visual Performance: 22-Fret real-time MIDI visualization. The ARP2FRET (SEE) feature displays arpeggiator hits directly on the virtual neck.
• Scales & Enharmonics: Display note names using enharmonic equivalents (# / b) from the scale/mode navigation, fully supporting double sharps and flats when the key requires them.
• User Scale Editor: Up to four custom user scale slots with quick load/save. Edit user scales directly from the virtual fretboard or your MIDI keyboard.
• Force to Scale: Quantize incoming MIDI to your selected scale with four modes: Off, Up, Down, or Nearest.
• Dedicated Key Functions: New Function Keys mapped for Edit/Exit User Scale, Load User Scales 1–4, and Save User Scales 1–4, live string mixing and articulation keys.
